Fountain of Youth

Fountain of youth,
can you buy me back some time?
Just a few years,
maybe a lifetime.

Can you stop the aging process?
Put a sparkle back in my eye?
Give me back my innocence?
And make me less wise.

Can you make it all brand new?
And make the world younger too?
There are things I would change.
And I'd redo some of my days.

Regrets made in the past.
Haunting guilt that lasts.

Fountain of youth,
can you buy me back some time?
Just a few years,
maybe a lifetime.

  • I like this. And for some reason when I read it I got a song stuck in my head. I think its called 'father of mine'...not so much the words, but the rythem
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
