A Bright Future

Gentle, babies breathing,
Like the whisper of an angel so fair.
I watch you as you are sleeping,
I can feel the love all in the air.

The future is looking bright for you,
I pray with all my heart.
Every last wish and dream for you,
Is in the beating of my heart.

Bring to the world your sunshine smiles,
And the light that shines in your eyes.
Present your gifts unselfishly,
Set your heart and soul free.

You are part of this world, like a piece to a puzzle
you are put in,
You belong, so unique, with the endless possibilities
as your faithful friend.

Thanks. I love my little girls. I have a book of poems I have been writing dedicated to them since the time they were born (they are 3 years old now). I plan to give each one a copy when they get older. I wanted a way to show them how much they mean to me.
  • I think that's the most wonderful and sweetest idea I've heard in a long time! :) I'm sure they'll appreciate all the love you put into it. :) That's just so awesome!!!!!!
