Reach for Tomorrow

I hold on for a brighter day,
one that waits for me.
When the trees will sway,
with the wind's direction change.

A time to come, not so far away,
for the sunlight to smile when it sees my face.
A light at the end of the tunnel,
the eye of the storm in the funnel.

Life will slow this crazy pace,
and the barriers will dissinigrate.
The mountains will crumble at my feet,
and wash away in a cleansing sea.

A brand new me will arise,
and push away the cobwebbs from my eyes,
and I will hold my head up high.

Forget the sorrow,
and reach for tomorrow.

I think this line illustrates the strength of the speaker the most. It's a nice poem.

    love it!!!!
    You ask me to enter
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
    To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
    ----
    Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame
