South Paw and Serenity
sailing side by side.
Across the Chester River
their journey could not be denied.

Crystal, rippling water
muddy, shallow stream.
Far off into the distance
lightened by the sun's beams.

Here is where I think of you
the loss I feel is great.
This is where my dream's alive
there's no reason to hesitate.

Loneliness echoes in the cool breeze
of a sadness that knocks me to my knees.
A long ago letter that was sent.
And I think of what might have been.

I wish you could hear me calling
calling out to you.
I wish you felt it important enough
to make my dreams come true.
