Two Little Girls

Once upon a world
seems so long ago
two little girls
played in the snow

Lived their lives
side by side
daily adventures
enjoying the time

Sharing their dreams
partners in schemes
just a bond of unity

But they grew
and time passed by
and grew into women with busy lives
And the special times
they had so long ago
disappeared...like melted snow.

Love the metaphors of snow in that poem. How everything just 'melts' kind of like people growing apart.

Very touching and post more of your writing. I really enjoyed reading this poem:)
