A Better Day

Peace runs in a river
outside my door
Prayers have been answered
plus more

Unspoken, settled, almighty light
I will lay down my head, and sleep tonight
and dream beneath a star filled sky
where the trees reach to the clouds so high

High on a mountain of hope I sit
Beneath me lies the useless shit
All the things that bring me down
All the things that wear a frown

Life is like a house by the sea
sometimes the hurricanes are there to see
But sometimes the sun guides the way
to a path of a better day

  • wow x 3....I love this!!!

one of the best ive read on here
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

me too twinny, but maybe not the poem, but the sentiment......I like what it says about you......and its hope.......I like the hope in this poem
....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......
