Coins in a Wishing Well

We are all coins,
in a wishing well.
Some make a safe landing,
and some repel.

Some in the middle,
some on the outskirts.
Some missed the well,
and landed in the dirt.

Some are on the edge,
ready to tumble down.
Some are no where to be found!

The big man tosses us,
where we need to go.
Handfuls at a time,
always ready to throw.

I guess it makes,
an entertaining show.

I like your take on it, would never have thought of it.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

Thanks. I don't know how or why I even came up with that.
  • makes my want to be a coin...lotsa gropin. Wait. No, that works both ways I guess.....hmm....dilllema. Nice poem anyways
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

that's a good idea for a poem - it reminds me of the seeds in the bible that land on fallow land or on rocky ground......interesting, thanks :)
....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......
