A Compromise

Sun shine down and brighten up the dark,
turn the stupidity to smart.
Understanding on both parts.
I won't take you for granted, so don't do it to me.
Let the light surround everything we see.
Both sides of the coin, does it matter which one is right?
They both lay down their heads and cry at night.
Such a pretty day, let's not waste a minute.
Compromise....let's begin it.
My white flag is up, won't you hold your's up too?
Your will is strong, but you know mine is too.
Let's just enjoy each others company,
and let the anger seep out and set us free.
You are a wise man with a heart of gold.
Don't let your anger make you cold.
Things will work themselves out as the sun rises in the sky,
and clears away all the thunderclouds in our minds.
