Everyone waited for a third leg for the 2006 tour, for the midwest/south, never eventuated.

This won't either. West Coast got EV, and East Coast/Partial South got PJ.

Even if there was another leg, it sure as hell wouldn't start in Toronto.

I think if there is a 2nd leg, it will be the midwest like St Louis, KC, Texas, New Orleans, Pheonix. I have a feeleing the east coast tour was done because they were doing Bonaroo. A Full North American tour I think will happen over the spring and summer in 2009.

Next album has to get recorded sometime... I'm thinking this tour of sorts is to kind of shake off the dust and maybe try some new things while on the road... I'm hoping for a double album... It'd be cool if we got 1 Cd full of new material and another CD full of unreleased b-sides from avocado and other albums.
  • That would be sweet!! Especially if he came to the real east coast....of Canada that is..ie, NB, NS, NF, PEI....

If there was going to be a toronto, it would have been part of this east coast tour. Why leave toronto off this leg and then have to go back up there as part of a midwest or west coast tour? Hate to say it but looks like no Toronto in 2008. Maybe you'll get an EV show.

My wife and I don't believe there will be a T.O. date this year so we got tickets for Hartford. They've begun and ended tour legs in Toronto before. Most recently they opened the "Pearl Jam" album tour in Toronto and it was the first time they played Inside Job. Two freaking amazing shows if you ask me.

the concept of LOGISTICS is clearly foreign to you, not to mention common sense, but otherwise,...looking forward to the next Toronto show :)

it wish they would play at the Pemberton festival in BC. With tom petty, NIN, and some of the others in the line-up I would stop thinking about going and just go.

The other thing that people may be missing is the fact that a west coast leg was strongly rumoured a few months back and those rumours have disappreaed completely by now. But there are new rumours that have started (albeit just a single rumour) of EV east coast solo tour in August.

It is very possible that August was initally going to be PJ on the west coast and has since been replaced by an EV solo tour of the east coast.

Or there could be nothing at all :(

if they do an EV solo on east coast then they would have to do a PJ west coast tour to balance it out or the west coast will get jealous
