A Dream

I'm dreaming again.
But my dreams are so real.
You're walking in a better place,
and you're starting to heal.

You're noticing the little things,
that make life worthwhile.
You're singing and you're laughing,
and you're sharing that sunshine smile.
You're wishing on a shooting star.
You're playing a sweet melody on your old guitar.
And happiness is not so far.........away,
to stay.

I dream the same dream,
every night.
When I lay my head down to sleep,
my dream takes flight.
And it shines like the stars,
in the darkness....... of the night.

You can't tell me it's not real.
Because you don't know how real it feels.
And I'll dream my dream,
and all it seems.
Until it becomes,
a reality.
