A Deeper Look

Do you remember what it was like,
when you cared about life?
Has anyone ever hurt you?
Was it the right thing to do?
How did it make you feel?
Be honest.....be real.
We are all the same,
give it any kind of name.
I hurt, I bleed,
I have the same needs.
Numb all your pain,
but you're only running away again.
I'm an open, honest, genuine book.
I should hide...but I won't.
So now take a harder look,
and think hard about what I wrote.
I see through eyes you think are blind,
all the while using my own mind.
Think about your future,
think about your past,
but don't let it bite you...in the ass!

    That truly did make me take a deeper look into myself. That poem is very meaningful to me....great job twin2!

    Very enjoyable, twin2!!! The end was just great and it made me giggle because it's so true and the way you put it was just bang on and funny. :)
