Venture Into My Labrinth?

You do not know
the jungle of my
mind's thoughts.

I am restless as
the big cats lurking
ready to pounce.

A victim unknown
enigma bites deeply
exotic scent silent.

Will you venture into
this labyrinth cell of
memory and imagination?

Can you make me
forget all thoughts
re-awaken my body?

I wear the mask of
public society, as a
mare wears her saddle.

I want to kick down fences
running beneath cosmic beauty
set free to escape in the night.

Only for a little while, I want
to forget all but my feelings
as gentle hands comb my mane.

Tame, yet still wild I seek
the one that understands me
to no end of depths bottomless.
I never meant to hurt you, mi diablo, mi amigo, but I've built up so much character I have an alter ego. I have to make a clean break & I have to do it quick because the pain you give me babe would make Cal Ripken call in sick!!!
