love turn to anger turn to hate
like the changing seasons
we sprang eternal only to recoil
back down inside ourselves
the heat of our summer
has given way to a wintery touch
the laughter once so easy to share
is now an inside joke followed
by an uneasy tormented silence
when once there two hands
cradled inside each other
replaced by sand and space
our time slipping through those hands
like an hourglass on it's last minutes
have we fallen, sunk to a depth
where the air has turned so black
there is little hope for turning back
like the changing seasons
we sprang eternal only to recoil
back down inside ourselves
the heat of our summer
has given way to a wintery touch
the laughter once so easy to share
is now an inside joke followed
by an uneasy tormented silence
when once there two hands
cradled inside each other
replaced by sand and space
our time slipping through those hands
like an hourglass on it's last minutes
have we fallen, sunk to a depth
where the air has turned so black
there is little hope for turning back
I remain,

you told me impossible is implausible, didn't you?
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
----
Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame
I like this line..."the heat of our summer
has given way to a wintery touch"
Something so warm, can turn so cold in the blink of an eye. Isn't that the truth.
