She spoke to me through a glass window
that peered deep within my soul
She could tell what I was thinking
She could tell my life was cold
The words exchanged between us
bringing us closer with each breath
my heart continues pounding
long after she has left
my eyes unable to see her
her image I am left to ponder
my body begins to tremble and shake
my mind but left to wander
as I gaze upon her beauty now
her picture has brought to light
everything I imagined she would be
these blinded eyes she has given birth to my sight
that peered deep within my soul
She could tell what I was thinking
She could tell my life was cold
The words exchanged between us
bringing us closer with each breath
my heart continues pounding
long after she has left
my eyes unable to see her
her image I am left to ponder
my body begins to tremble and shake
my mind but left to wander
as I gaze upon her beauty now
her picture has brought to light
everything I imagined she would be
these blinded eyes she has given birth to my sight
I remain,

I was wondering the same thing..
If she doesnt know, you should definately tell her
No woman in her right mind could resist such beautiful thoughts put to poetry...
thank you for the kind words.
As much as I would love to believe it true
not all women like the romantic type.
I would love to think that the lady these words are intended for
is well aware of how I feel about her.

i hope she is aware. there are way too many miscommunications out there.
as always, i like this one too.

I only joke.
I honestly can't see a woman who doesn't like a little romance... unless they've went through something traumatic in their past.
I've heard one guy call 'guys who write poetry' gay...
But it was his girlfriend I stole with such...

wow, I just can't even imagine...she is very lucky that you care so deeply for her and I hope she does know...and cares as deeply back...wonderful read, hits straight to the heart
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
