His tears are falling from within,
too proud to let them show,
the moments are passing by quickly,
he feels he should let her know.

The silence is killing his heart,
a deafening scream to escape,
his life torn apart by indifference,
his fear of it being too little, too late.
I remain,

this is very sad...I do hope he puts his pride down and tells her how he feels, better to try than not...sadly I think many relationships end or never really happen because of pride, very destructive thing that tears people apart instead of bringing them together, it's scary to be the kind of vunerable that let's you admit you need someone else, people play too many games and waste too much time...what is the point of love if you don't want to share it, it is worth the risk of getting hurt
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

Pride can be so self destructive. Well written. I hope he whips that old pride into shape and lets his heart shine through.

Even plants aren't indifferent. Makes you wonder how the protagonist views "indifference." Is this sense of indifference as seen by someone else just the protagonist's way of saying done is done. Is the protagonist really screaming within for someone to stay or to leave. Interesting. Flows nicely.

    This is sad. :(
I feel like this sometimes too.
I don't say anything when I really should.
