playing music alone

is like going to work after awhile
i make phone calls to the band
try to stay in touch with my friends
just to escape for awhile

were all far apart now
theres no destination to my thought
i leave a message forgetting why
dream of making songs

its all so sad the turning of the waves
my life my soul is fading again
cant sit in one place i retreat

poetry or not
thanks to everyone who can read what i write without having to say something mean
