It was an awsome show. Eddie really did seem grateful to everyone for singing No More. He said it was the loudest he's heard people sing the chorus in the United States.
I was pretty surprised when Sean Penn came on stage, especially since Eddie was mockingly ripping Penn earlier in the night, good thing Sean isn't here tonight (Penn was there with his son the night before) and NO YOUTUBING. Penn was there last night with his wife, Robin. I think Eddie said happy birthday to her?
While the Penn appearance was comic relief, I was shocked and stoked that Mike showed up. The Yellow Ledbetter performance was awsome, especially when Eddie started drumming towards the end.
You could really feel Ed's love for Pearl Jam, and it showed even more when Mike appeared. I think the love is gonna make for an awsome new record.
So no one has stories about Ed from after the show? His bus was right behind the theater. There was also a sick motorcycle right next to the bus.
