  • I just converted the Xmas single to Mp3 files.

If I read that the moderators are cool with spreading the Christmas cheer and someone can tell me where to host them, I will. Without mod approval, they're only going to my iPod. Sorry.

  • Posting the mp3's isn't against any rules. It's all good. You can use rapidshare.com or megaupload.com. Thanks in advance.

ATTENTION EVILRABBIT!!!!! your ten club membership WILL BE DELETED if you post an mp3 file that will be readily available in less then 12 hours. How dare you even consider being a nice person, and allowing other people to listen to a rocking band with some new tunes out. THANK YOU!

That was pretty uncalled for. He is doing the right thing, which is what I thought the holidays was all about.

I don't have a turntable, how else am I supposed to listen to it?
“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”
    Fyodor Dostoyevsky
  • I started a separate thread to ask if it's okay to share the mp3s.

    If I get a greenlight, I will use rapidshare.com

Like I said, I'd love to spread the Christmas cheer, but not if it will get me banned. No way, no how.

    I just received mine.

    SIDE A

    "Santa God"

Eddie sings about being a kid, "when Santa Claus was God." Good rockin' Christmas tune which only gets better midway through when Eddie starts wailing.

Great track. "Sleep tight oh little ones..."

    Credits:
    Written by Vedder
    Jeff - bass, wurlitzer, bells
    Matt - drums (duh)
    Eddie - uketar, vocals

    Recorded at Studio X

    SIDE B

    "Jingle Bells"

McCready did everything but write it. Recorded it at his home. Pretty much him rocking out to Jingle Bells on the guitar. No vocals (thanks for sparing us Mike).

    Simple but awesome.
    Sounds fucking awesome!!!!!

I love the newly recorded songs!!! And nothing from the Vic, thankfully!!

    Hopefully mine comes tomorrow.

And therein lies the explanation for why I received it ahead of anyone Seattle...

It was shipped from Santa Clarita, CA.

Yes, I received mine in Los Angeles today (Friday the 21st). I was shocked as hell to see it sitting in my mail box. Opened it right away and cranked Jingle Bells. Kind of a cool to actually receive it 4 days before X-mas. Such a novelty!

Any chance of copying the tracks on your computer and posting them here in MP3? My apologies if this isn't allowed on here for Christmas singles. Thanks anyway.
