The Great Outdoors

In the city life passes you by
the air is filthy the rivers dry
But there’s a place I know
where life is green
and nature
blooms
and grows

In the Great outdoors
The great outdoors
There are no bums

In the greaaaaaaaaaat outdoors

In the great outdoors the world is mellow
where the sky is blue and sun is yellow
you can go out with your dames and fellows
in the great outdoors

it’s the perfect place to smile
when trees wave hello
once more

In the Great outdoors its hot and wild
You can run out in the field for miles
If you step outside you’ll stay for a while
And probably fall asleep
It’s a blast for everyone
in the great outdoors

And there’s no better place to spend your day
Have a picnic watch your children play

Birds,
Bees,
trees and flowers
you can get lost in the woods for hours
cause the trees rise above your head like towers
in the great outdoors
you can do most anything in the great outdoors

In the great outdoors the world is splendid
when you and nature are befriended
your invitation is extended
to the great outdoors
