A Spinnin' Heart

With great emptiness
I have filled wells with my tears of sorrow
Because since you left
I could care less if there was a tomorrow

I've tried to find you
In grey skies
On a frozen pond
In bear trees
But I can't find you
Because I've also lost me

Endless silent days
Turned to cold lonely nights
Begging for sleep
Wishing to dream
To feel you deep inside

Your arms encasing me
Your lips hovering over mine
Your fingers tangled in my hair
And the way you'd whisper,"Oh you taste devine"

Time has past
Seasons have changed
I have healed
I feel strong
But something remains...

Because today I heard your voice
And since I'm not the same
With every breath
I find myself
calling out your name
If I could be anything in the world I would be your teardrop...I would be born in your eyes, live on your cheeks, and die on your lips.
