It's dumb (but how it works)

With the right rhythm and chords, this song is actually ok if I might say so myself :)

The music tones down
And I feel out
Plastic candid faces, I frown

Your guests are leaving
And I start believing
It’s empty shells, I’m seeing

You won’t see
What you’ve become
And I can’t be
What you want

The colors faint
Your mood goes pale
Thinking fate, loved by hate, someway

Though time goes by
You still can’t die
Elbow ‘round the stars in your skies

You won’t see
What you’ve become
And I can’t be
What you want
It’s dumb
But how it works
It’s dumb
It’s dumb

Save yourselves, cause she’s on fire
Save yourselves, and I can’t put her out

It's not really about love though it could seem that way. Not high-class stuff either but I've kinda grown to like it pretty much :) Dunno about the title... would "She's on fire" be more fitting? heck, I dunno...
