My band's lyrics

So I'm 15 and in a metal band. I'm the drummer but I'm actually the one writting the lyrics and I just felt like posting them here. I'd like to receive constructive comments plz. Some of you might get a few references sometimes. I also saw that a few of my lyrics look like PJ lyrics but some of them were written before I heard the PJ song. I'm TEH EDDIE VEDDER JR.!!!!! Nah just kidding... he's not a drummer from what I know

Finally understand

Been long since my salvation
Lost it all on the edge of madness
All the lights are off
Painted in black
I lack self-control

Since the day I fell apart
Never felt like I had a heart
Eternal coil or unbearable muddle

Follow the waves
To the edge of this
Always be a mystery
Already drowning under the waves
Don’t hold your breath
Follow the current

Melancholy leads to butchery
Honestly in pugatory
What to say

2: Day you’ll fall from your valiant steed
I’ll give you no heed
Have to live in hell to know what heaven is
Spiral of eternal agony
For severe melancholy

The day I fell apart
I still had no heart
My search for redemption
Lost in my salvation

Traveled the seven suns
To find my soul

3: The world is a hole
Oh no I’m not whole
I’m here but at the same time I’m gone
I tried hard but I failed; like everything else
I cut my shoulder for the last time
Bled so much that I couldn’t even feel
I heal only to bring myself down
I’m never alone but I’m alone in my mind
She’s scared of her own shadow
Oh my god we’re so shallow
Everything is finally crumbling
What you hold dear is always what you lose
I’ll move away from here
Leaving you with no heir
Not who you think I am
I tried hard to be a son but I became a stranger
Get rid of me during your epiphany
I’m sure someday you’ll have something better
The day it stops raining
The day I leave this purgatory

I've also got parts of lyrics but I already burdened you with these crappy lyrics. Hope you like them

Those are some of my favourite lyrics I wrote. So far we only have 2 songs that are complete with lyrics. We have another song but its instrumental. We sometimes change somethings in the lyrics like change the end to be the start things like that. In 2 weeks we're going to play in public for the second time. We can only play at our school. We can't really play at clubs and anyway I don't think we're good enough for that yet. Maybe someday we'll play at clubs here in montreal.
