for a long time now i've been considering to put some of my poetry in the pit, and now i'm just gonna do it.... so here it is.

Collision course

The smoke a good instrument
To confirm your existence
By letting your breath move it
From one place to another
While the rest of you
Remains perfectly still
Even your heartbeat negligent
In the absolute absence
Of signs of life
Aside from the collision
Of smoke and breath

And you know it’s times like these
I hate you the most
It’s times like these
I hate you the most
Because I honestly don’t know
If it’s arrogance or autism

The cigarette a good excuse
For you to exist
A reason to keep on breathing
The smoke still leaving
One big question
Where did the ashes go
Did you sweep them
Under your life, the rug
People walk upon
And leave cigarette burns on

So much for the smokescreen in your face
Around your head
Blow it away
Let the bullet of your breath backfire
In your arrogance
And burn the rug
With your last cigarette
Then get a new pack
And do it all over again

Because you know it’s times like these
I hate you the most
It’s times like these
I hate you the most
Because I honestly don’t know
If it’s arrogance or autism
So get a new pack
And do it all over again
Jon Stewart: "[about Russia's new president]...Dmitri Medevvvevv.... Dmitri Meh..... Dmitri M.! Or... as George W. Bush would probably pronounce it... Eddie Vedder."

lay down all thoughts; surrender to the void
~it is shining it is shining~
