Some Things Must Be..

I remember the last time I was here,
A river of words, and you were near,
Everything was fresh, Everything was clear..


Oh how, oh how things have changed,
I feel so damn restrained,
everything is lost.

Oh how, how things used to be,
you were into me,
sublime..

I was blocked by my delusion,
Now I'm sorry it caused confusion,
Go be free...

Its about a guy who loves a girl, because all his thoughts of being with her, he doesn't realise she doesn't like him, then he finds out and thinks, that if you love someone that much, you'll set them free. Yes, I've gone through this feeling.

What do you think?

    I think it is sad and heart-breaking. One-sided love is very painful. Sometimes you have no choice but to set them free, especially if that is what they want or need. It is funny how we can blind ourselves when we feel a certain way. I have experienced it myself. I am a romantic at heart though and always have hope. Your poem expressed one-sided love nicely. Good read.

    I set em free all the time.Maybe I should start playing Hansel and Gretel and carry around some bread crumbs to find my way back home.
