Hello everyone..
I'm new here..Kind of exciting, posting my first poem..:)
My English is not really good I guess, because I'm from Holland..
So excuse me if I make any mistakes and feel free to tell me what they are..
And please give an honest opinion..Thanks:)

I could hate you so much
I could

Right now

I could...

If I hadn't put you there
If I wasn't the one who started it

But I'm not sorry
What's the regret
Nothing, right?

Because I won't
I won't live for you
I just won't
I refuse to break for you

But I will
I'm allready doing it
Living your life
For you...

I could hate you
If you weren't the one I love

  • You're very welcome! Don't worry about English not being your first language. I think English is culturally supposed to be my second language, and the guy Tchaliz with the most amazing, beautiful thread on this forum is French, I think. There used to be a very good Slovenian writer here called exhale: She lives in Berlin. The PJ audience is very international and often multitongued. :)
  • Yeah, I've noticed that..:)..

..:)I guess I'll be fine then

    Thanks

already not allready.....I have no problem with foreign people writing English poems as long as they're not pretending to be Shakespeare......which happened here once.....we once had a foreign poet on here who was so pretentious that she wrote this twisted stuff with a lot of badly spellt big words.....which had no poetic value, but were just an offshoot of her delusional mind.....Anna Falk is Swedish, and writes very accessible nice poems.....Tchaliz is African.....and I'll be fukked if I've ever read anything as sweet and profound as his wonderful little stories......other people too, write poems that might be misspelt, but convey simple truths and humour, and love......without getting all pretentious.......welcome......I liked this one.......it's open and free......:)

    (Fins, you said 'tit')
....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......

ISN, where you been? You made me laugh this morning!

Children's hour, I once worked in a tutoring center. I was working with a Finnish student who was writing a literary analysis of a Mark Twain story. She kept writing "Pa", and I kept explaining that it's '"pa" unless that's his name, and she was trying really hard to convey to me that it was his name. When I realized that, I said, oh crap. From that point on I've tried to stay away from schooling people who speak more languages than me and write. You go on ahead and blow us away with your words.

Pa.......I once told Fins that Michael from the Little House on teh Prarie (fukked if I can spell Prarie - I'm durnk)......was called Pa.....and he then called him Michael Pa.....I love all those old American books......like The Scarlet Letter......nad Uncle Tom's Cabin.....I've read a library full of all these books, and I still haven't learned......but I call spades spades.....and so long as someone's not pretending to be the new Shakespeare, I have no problem with them hijacking my language......hehehehehehhe.....I'm totally kidding....it's not my language, but it soon will be.....when I fukkin (we built this city, we built this city on rock and roll).......when I rule the wrold every day will be the frist day of spring....I realise I'm being autocratic.....but it sure beats the hell outta crap peotry......

  • I'll avoid Shakespeare-kind-of-words..:)
Couldn't come up with them anyway

I'm suprised by al these reactions but I just understand half of it..:)
