Why die?

Massive
huge f'n spider
wouldn't die
Never saw one so big
or fat
There was a time I'd
scream and cry
now I battle with this
one
it's gotta die
I tried so hard
it struggled with me
The water bottle won
and made a killer out of me.

I saw it crumpled left there
and wondered why.
