OK this is a pretty simple excersize, read my sentence then post the first thing that comes to your mind....then someone reads the reply and posts the first thing that comes to their mind..... and so on and so on.

'Its particularly grey today, saturdays sunshine gave me false hope'.
Makes much more sense....to live in the present tense.

  • a hope a stuttered gasp a cry an exultation breathed in spectral streaked rain a promise an incidence a lambent spluttering of light seraphic and celestial godness multitongued and diaphanous in the piqued moment of oneness with all sound all colour before the final muted merge into neutral grey
  • sorry you lost me there

Gasping, dying, choking on a continuously bleak and smothering atmosphere. No end in sight, just more grey, more smoke, more death.

But then someone reminded me of that terrible, or was it terrific, who knows, how close, song. The one, something about the beauty of grey.

She was proud of her autumn look in a salt and pepper grey sweater.

Walking along the waterfront, she dared everyone she passed by not to smile at her, and one determined young man sardonically met her challenge.

and then he fell of the pier
and she changed into her wonderwoman outfit
    and saved his life
and the determined young man gratefully shook her hand

i soak up the moisture in the air..
    although naught exists,

and i am transported to some saturday in my youth,
    in the month of march..

    bitten by bitter winds,
attempts to catch fly balls hit towards left field,
    what to do,
    what to say..

it's too damn cold to enjoy this game,
    i dratherbee with an animal..
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
