Detour

Wasting away in these old shoes
Carrying me from here to you.
Thinking of friends who've come and gone,
Singing the chorus of some unknown song.
Making my own road when I can,
Walking strangers path's every now and then.
Seeing things I didn't know of,
Taking my detours just because.
Rising up on these steep hills,
Throwing away these useless pills.
Climbing mountains because I can,
Making time, doesn't matter when.
Daydreaming a dream I'm trying to reach,
Reflecting on the past and what it can teach.
Thinking, drifting, fading away,
Doesn't matter, its a whole new day.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

    Nice kovo....I liked it too.

You know you can throw away those useless pills...
just have a sip of wine.
    It equals out.

  • yes, very good
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes

  • It flowed well Kovo and I liked what you had to say. Cheers, to a whole new day! :)
