One Last....

Kovo

One last look before I die,
I see the light fade from my eyes.
With courage I have yet to gain
I face my fears and take the pain.
The single breath the hold me
Here now begins to disappear.
A darkened hall lies ahead,
It must mean I'll soon be dead.
The last of life slips away
Before I have the chace to say
"Fear is what forged my path, and now I must face its wraith. If only I could have stood so strong and not dwelled on what was wrong, I could have fought for what was right, stood alone and fought the fight. Now this curse is your's my friend, don't give up, face the end."


I don't know what mood I was in when I wrote it, but I recently found it in one of my old lyric books, and thought I'd post it.
