No Reason

Not gonna be coming back,
Not gonna know how I'll react.
Not sure what I'll do,
Not even sure how I lost you.

Not gonna let everything change,
Grab my hand,
We need something to hold in these
Shifting sands.
I won't be buried or forgotten,
Won't let go or give in.

There's no distance to keep us apart.
No closeness to mend a broken heart.
No room to breath in or shout,
None to whisper or breath out.
There's nothing, not a reason or a clue,
Not an arguement, just a who.
Me. You. Us.
The future. My present. Our past.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

  • Interesting how you meld past present and future.
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

(How fond I am of him)
    A whisper and a thrill
    A whisper and a chill
