To A New Day

As clear blue sky casts down false reassurances,
I gaze up willing to believe,
Hoping to conceive
A way to make them true.

Alone amid the ruins of broken ties
The suns soft rays
Promise better days
And I'm willing to oblige.

It's not a matter of life and death
But of living and dieing.
Not a matter of trial and error,
Just the error in trying.
Not a meaning, just the tale.
Not the time, just how its spent.
Not a mask, just the eyes beneath
Not the hand, just how its lent
It's funny how a rewording of days
Can rearrange the night
And how the shadows in death
Can brighten up life.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

Good read Kovo...I especially like the lines above. :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
