Time comes, and time goes,
So do the people that I know.
Both leave me feeling older then before,
Both leave me alone when there's nothing more.

Shadows come, and cut me like light,
Thoughts come to me, and darken my night.
These are the times that I won't know.
You are the candle that I won't see glow,
Just burn out, and whither away.
Just give up, and take me away.

The only thing that stays the same,
Is the fact that things never change.
A friend one day, until the end,
Things change, now I'm not a friend.

The days lengthen day by day,
But the good times never stay.
All I want seems to leave me here,
Left alone to fight off my fear
Just Die out, the end will come
Just let go, you were the one.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.
