This is not the way I am
This is not my clenched up hand.
This is not my way to go,
This is not the way to show.
These are not my hate filled words,
These are not the things I've heard.
These are not my past mistakes,
This isn't me for God's sake.
I wasn't like this long ago,
But I guess I didn't know what I know,
Or had given up, let go.
But this new me isn't me,
The part thats left will set me free.
I'm not what I am, this will not end.
