They say there's a tomorrow,
And with it, hope too.
They say the light will fade,
It will die, all things do.
They also say it will come again,
Brighter then before,
And that I can change myself,
But I can't be more
Then what I am.

If I am the last to keep faith,
And keep this honor alive,
Does it die with me?
Am I on the wrong side?
Am I the one who should have changed
And not resist this life?
If I am the last to think,
Then does it make it right?
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

Good poem! Sometimes doing the right thing will have you standing alone...do the right thing anyway
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • tallent oozes from you
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
