My Place

If our lives began to hide,
Would they run to our regrets?
Like I did when I knew I made mistakes
Would I find some time, if I learned to forget,
Would I find some rest, if I learned to wake?

And I keep searching for things not there,
When what I search for is everywhere,
But its nothing I can call my own,
And its been awhile since I've shown,
This love,
This love.

I can't keep fixing these past wrongs
It seems the wait is much to long,
This sentence that I've been given,
Seems my crime was just for livin'.
This life,
This life.

It seems the days just drift away,
Countless hours of life and love
Anything you hold to you,
and these words I should not say.

But no matter what, I sit them through,
Because the days bring me closer to
The day when you will be mine,
They will bring me to you.

I can't just be a part of your past
I can't just be the wall.
The one that won't leave 'til last,
The one who makes you fall
From this,
From this.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

I really like this one Kovo! It was smooth.
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
