Someday, Maybe

Broken words to match the man,
A broken locket clutched in his hand.
A flash of pain beams from his eyes,
He's not alive, but did not die.
Only his soul, his world, his all
Passed away, out of reach and call.
Stripped away, like robbed by knife,
Not money or object, just his life.
Not his days, just his reason to be,
Not see eyes, just his reason to see,
Not his love, because that still remains,
Just his one, who he won't see again.
He breaths, he lives without a life,
He breaths, without his would-be wife,
He breaths, he sighs "Someday maybe"
I breath, I sigh, that man is me.
Do you wonder if the end will ever justify the means?
Because my friend, there is no end justified to me.
A broken locket clutched in his hand.
A flash of pain beams from his eyes,
He's not alive, but did not die.
Only his soul, his world, his all
Passed away, out of reach and call.
Stripped away, like robbed by knife,
Not money or object, just his life.
Not his days, just his reason to be,
Not see eyes, just his reason to see,
Not his love, because that still remains,
Just his one, who he won't see again.
He breaths, he lives without a life,
He breaths, without his would-be wife,
He breaths, he sighs "Someday maybe"
I breath, I sigh, that man is me.
Do you wonder if the end will ever justify the means?
Because my friend, there is no end justified to me.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
