You

Are you a match or a fuse?
Light the way or make me lose?
Turn your back when I refuse?
Leave me with one choice to choose?

Will you tell me truths or lies?
Say you love yet just despise?
Promise to hold on but just cut your ties?
Be a pillar and help me rise?

Are you a hand to hold
A fist to block?
Are you a bending tree
Or a stubborn rock?
My light to see,
A mask to blind?
Whatever you are,
It's mine to find.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

  • "questions rise and answers fall" - this poem reminded me of that line in that song by that band, ummm, you know who they are, I'm sure. ;):)

People are puzzles, always leaving you wondering...but it's fun trying to figure them out, isn't it? :)
Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen

The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
