Watch the late tide rise,
When you close your eyes,
Against the setting sun.

Feel the warm wind die
As the days slip by,
And wish for your someone.

You know the only way
To fix the things you say
Is through the things you do.

You've seen the end of days,
And how the smiles change,
And with them dreams do too.

You will here my voice
After every choice,
You've made that breaks your heart

You will watch me fade,
With the choices made
That keep two halves apart.

You'll forget my words,
But remember the hurt
Of past days, their rise and fall.

You'll recall the past
From the mirrors broken glass
And you'll say we never loved at all.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.
