What you thought insane, rationale,
And what you believed in faith, the illogical,
So why should I care if you don't like my efforts?--
'God' may be dead but the preconceptions of christianity live-on,
Infectious, our culture today has grown stale from its small-pox blanketeers!
Onward a-pass, forever-avoidance of the issues of Land--
A descending comedy, tragically Divine,
Only voice and will will free again the reign of America from tyranny,
Her Spirit must not be enshackled by the halls of church any longer--
Breaking-out in expansion, a circle from a square,
The noose released, I left my muzzle there!

Do you really think that muzzle was left there?I never thought of it that way.
I guess thats why someday I'm getting married on a beach:)God doesnt let bad things happen.
What I said in my former life?I'll never know...that hasnt come to me yet.

thanks for the vote of confidence Ali, i'm honored someone enjoyed my words. i dont think it is my best effort, but something i've had stashed away for awhile i finally felt ready to step-up and share..

and yes, as many of my friends and acquaintances could testify, i have definately left my muzzle somewhere behind me!!!--and i think a beach wedding is a superb idea, as long as you know the local weather patterns!

I really liked this poem too, Dreams of Red! It has that "in your face" quality and speaks of things I can agree with.

This line: "A descending comedy, tragically Divine" - bang on! Love it!
