Everybody has kaleidoscope eyes

In my backyard,
behind the butterfly bushes,
around the corner,
where the Asiatic lilies
and gladiolas grow,
I laid down.

My head was cushioned
by the green traveling jacket
in all those pictures:

Paris, Prague,
Boston, every single bayou.

Now it's at home
under my head.

My fingers grasped
a blade of grass
whose hue
was about the same
as my cushion-coat.

The sun against my closed lids
Refracted beams
bent them into shifting, swirling
colors.

And my kaleidoscope eyes
realized
that the bauble
you brought back
was meant to create
this feeling.

it's good but i want to read more about the person you call "you" in this poem..

    :)
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    thanks and okay.

But if you don't mind, why?

(and self edit, I think it should be "lay down" -- I hate the conjugation of "to lie" / "to lay --never, ever do it correctly)
