I'm with you on No Savior, I think it wins best "jam track" but I think Say Hello 2 Heaven is still my favorite.

    call me a dog
    all night thing
    reach down

um yeah, and the rest of them

Damn straight, the vocals are absolutely devastating. Just imagine what it would be like to emit that sound, it has to be such an amazing feeling expressing your feelings in such a powerful way......

It's hard to pick a favourite on such a flawless record, but Call Me A Dog and Say Hello 2 Heaven will always be pretty special songs to me.
  • TIE: Hunger Strike and Call me a dog (the latter has taken on a very personal meaning here lately)

agreed-it is jammmy-maybe thats why i like it so much. that and the fact that its such the dark horse of the album.

but SH2H is def the instant classic on there-no question. after all, this is THE track that immediately hooks you from the beginning.

the whole album is flawless IMO. that and Above-my fave all time collaborations -hands down.

Say Hello 2 Heaven has a very deep personal meaning for me and can pretty much make me cry any time I hear it. As for pure songcraft though, it's tough to beat Call Me a Dog. And for orgasmic Cornell wailing, it doesn't get much better than...

"If you keep me on a leash and you drag me alooooooooooooooooonnnnngggg..."

Say Hello 2 Heaven. I ripped off the solo for a song I wrote with a good friend. I just love that solo. Go Mike!
