'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

Damn straight, the vocals are absolutely devastating. Just imagine what it would be like to emit that sound, it has to be such an amazing feeling expressing your feelings in such a powerful way......
It's hard to pick a favourite on such a flawless record, but Call Me A Dog and Say Hello 2 Heaven will always be pretty special songs to me.
Say Hello 2 Heaven has a very deep personal meaning for me and can pretty much make me cry any time I hear it. As for pure songcraft though, it's tough to beat Call Me a Dog. And for orgasmic Cornell wailing, it doesn't get much better than...

Why contain yourself like any other book on the shelf?
Subtle voices in the wind hear the truth they're telling.

Watch me leave it all behind.
I'm with you on No Savior, I think it wins best "jam track" but I think Say Hello 2 Heaven is still my favorite.

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
agreed-it is jammmy-maybe thats why i like it so much. that and the fact that its such the dark horse of the album.
but SH2H is def the instant classic on there-no question. after all, this is THE track that immediately hooks you from the beginning.
the whole album is flawless IMO. that and Above-my fave all time collaborations -hands down.
