I
Oh please tell me i'm not dreaming
The simple caress upon my skin cries in silent whispers
Your touch striking a decadent flutter of the heartstrings
How can this be; upon a morning of just sunrise
The birds singing and the water dancing in the pale light
You lying here next to me, awakening lost dreams
Oh how could it be the pure love I hold of you
One thought never to be returned in a lifetime
That you show intimact I knew not of you
With a cautious flutter of opening eyes
Still holding belief it is all but a dream
I sense a truth that this has happened
A divinity withheld when I see
Gorgeous eyes looking down upon me
How it sends my heart into a frenzy
To know it is truly you showing what I only dream of
Why me, my darling, I question in utmost delicacy
Yet before the words leave my inquiring lips
They are silenced by a connection made between smiles
One that sends me silently screaming
Hoping that this is not a cruel joke upon me
This tender feel of a kiss such as yours
Is one never held in my grasp before
This passion entangling my veins in a coarse fire
Is only heightened beautifully as you feel the same
Please don't let this magnificence end
For what could I do if this was a deception?
As the immaculate thoughts swarm
We pull away both quietly knowing
We want so much more, yet understand
For us it is just not a wonderful possibility
II
I felt the tendrils of this etherealness slip away
Even before I could take hold of its mortality
Wishing I could go back to those amazing hours
Where we held nothing but the comfort of each other
It disappeared into a complete darkness
That makes such a mystery known unto me
A frequent thought as the days pass on
With us back in complacent normality
Where that serene love never existed
Is what will happen with such an intrepid situation
I feel the invisible caress of your fingers rise upon my skin
Each time seeing you I wish only of your comfort
But horribly unsure if I'll ever experience it once more
Your tell-tale signs still linger secretly
Those inquiring eyes watching my every move
The spoken rhymes and riddles of more than meets the eyes
Oh how it makes me almost powerless in my confusion
The longing for the day where it shall be allowed
For us to have once again what must now be lost
Is all too much, even more in wondering
Whether you will return that unbridled passion once more
For now I must anxiously await
To appeal to your intimate touch in time
Or be further left behind without your passion
To be scorched deep within my skin
Where I must adorn these days vacant of you forever more
Oh please tell me i'm not dreaming
The simple caress upon my skin cries in silent whispers
Your touch striking a decadent flutter of the heartstrings
How can this be; upon a morning of just sunrise

"Forgive every being,
the bad feelings
it's just me"
Truly breath taking, the both of them.
"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
