Waterfall of Reality

The cascading of inference beneath me
Lies in my heart as broken swine

The sun's rays so vaguely reaching
Beyond what whispers to me in untold secrets

I withstand a battle so gently failing
For what can come of this but life so lost?

The wishing of a solace so far away
Comes within my vacinty when least called upon

The music's sweet implications
Strumming my heartstrings so taut

Where to turn
When the moon's shine is no longer?

Where to run
When my mind and all i've known is gone?

What good could it possibly bring me
To discover what I inquired
To be turned into deepest shame

Oh what can I do
To lead these streets so bare to my enlightenment

Even when I remain alone
Alone amidst a crowd of unwanting
With petals so frail to the lightest of touch

For all I hope is that the gems of condolence will find me
And give one last chance at having

The stillness of radiance shine down upon me
"Everyone wants to be the sun that lights up your life, but I'd rather be your moon so I can shine on you during your darkest hour when your sun's not around."
