Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
my opening line was:-
"The sun rose like bile...."
I still really like it!
but memories...they eat me
I've seen it all before,...
bring it on cause I'm no victim.
-Ghost
here's some verses I like:
She was born some time after than I was
In those akward years of blushes and discarded dolls
This is all that remains...
This small frame of a person,
The birds have removed the rest
They flutter amongst the living
With shallow breath and silent touch
Pretty butterflies,
War-childs painted blue and black.
in act two there is a line i wrote and it goes like this:
"sunken memories anchored in her twirling mind"
also in another song which is about my take on evolution
"monkeys are laughing at us to this date
since we're nothing more than a hybrid ape"
they are both probably not even that good just the feeling i had writing those lines i remember made me feel good. i have a lot more though, but these are from the first 20 or so songs i wrote, so they mean a bit more to me.
~You laugh because I am different, I laugh because you are all the fucking same -?~
~Education is the most powerfull weapon you can use to change the world - Nelson Mandela~
they usually have very short lines
here are some passages i like:
"Autumn leaves were falling
Saw him walking down the street
No one
Nowhere
But in her eyes
She closed them"
"And where have you been
While rain washed the
Colors away"
"When it’s my turn
Where can I turn to
There’s nothing but death
Inside these walls of heads"
Moments that I have shared with you
Our hearts may break
But they're on their way
And there's nothing I can do
...my Heart Basking In Its Colors.

because his eyes

yet not subordinate to his hands,
an egalitarian relationship.
and Nast that's very quotable, I like it:
"I can't tell you how you make me feel, cause I'm not that good with words."
My blood has paid for all my wrongs.
The blood is dark, the blood is red,
The colour of love for which I've bled.
I wrote that for a girl I know but never gave it too her, I was trying to cheer her up but I had the feeling that wouldn't work.
Wow, very beautiful...
It seems to be a kind of "truth" to me...
hard to explain
very nice
Moments that I have shared with you
Our hearts may break
But they're on their way
And there's nothing I can do
"For a good lie/is better than a bad truth"
"Cause I can't wait to figure out what's wrong with me
So I can say this is the way I use to be" -- John Mayer

I dismiss all rules of etiquette
and lean my head back while
the last luscious drop of latte foam
slithers down my throat.

waiting for rain
anticipating sweet

The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math - The Mincing Mockingbird
I'm not what they say
I'm what they've made me
I'm the clay running through your hands, reshape me
and she ran down
like the hands
on a dollar clock
from my window to yours
you can’t keep what you never had
the truth is always deep in your heart
as you’re breaking the shoreline, breaking apart
here’s the ending, where do you start? ~
~it is shining it is shining~
"should I be life's character, or life's author?"
For an extended answer try reading Zorba the Greek, that book really hit me
"The stars--they shone a perfect light,
but I couldn't look away from your eyes."
I'm such a spaz,heh.
I also really like this line, it was at the end of a poem I posted here a long ass time ago. I liked it for its cheesy romanticism, but unfortunately its the only good part of the poem, and its at the very end.
"even though you'll never be mine
being in the same world as you
will do just fine"
I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.
we slept with so many clothes on
we woke up with so much at stake
and that blood saga reminds me of another line ......
no more teenage fashion for me
the colour of blood is really red!
and before i'm done i'll jus add one more .......
i've been turning to coffins every night for more
what's more
what's more
everything aside . it's great to be here .... been going through some stuff ... its all very good
in that dark attic to wonder whether we are
more human when ideas string together
in strands of Christmas lights
or when the blown fuse box of thought
fills that crawlspace with memories and a blank smile."
Not a complete line, just a complete thought
