Arc tease at Mansfield II?

I was at the show and didn't notice this until I listened to the boot. I was just wondering if anyone else heard it. During the first encore break right before they rocked bee girl, you can hear Eddie like start/tease arc? Kinda a weird thing for him to tease dont you think?

    I was at the show and noticed him teasing it and I remember looking for the loop recorder but could not spot it.

    I said to my buddy right when that occurred, 'Arc' We all knew it was quite possible, and then nothing progressed. Just like when I called out I'm Open at Detroit '06 and instead Eddie went into I Am Mine. Anyone else back me up on this? Seriously, listen to that part of Detroit '06. Intro sounds like I'm Open. To tie it all together, both times the refrain I got was, "You're nuts, you've had like 8 beers, and been smoking a bowl non-stop during the show. You're hearing things."

    I still think I'm spot on on both accounts.

    So yes, I agree with you. I think Arc was pseudo-teased at Mansfield II, just like I think I'm Open was teased before I Am Mine at Detroit.

    I heard it at the show and immediately thought Arc and then when he randomly stopped i said to myself..."Well I guess it wasn't Arc, he wouldn't stop in the middle of Arc."

    Well, Mansfield II was June 30th, which was the eighth anniversary of the Roskilde Festival, so it might have been intentional. I was actually waiting that night for them to play either Arc or Love Boat Captain to hear the lyric changed to "Lost nine friends we'll never know, EIGHT years ago today."

    It's not your imagination or your intoxication. Ed definitely stepped up to the mic and started Arc-- but not as if he had any intentions of completing it-- to me it seemed more like he was getting our attention for introducing something unusual.

    He was singing it as he came out for the encore... almost like he was singing it backstage and just kept singing it as he walked out. And as soon as he got to the mic he did a few seconds of it and was done. Was kind of a weird thing, but everyone around noticed it. I just thought it was cool because I could hear him before he hit the mic and was like an immediate thing...

    I heard something live, but didn't realize it was Arc....................definitely arc.

    Aha! I'm not crazy after all! At that moment, I turned to my friend and asked her if she heard that too, but alas, she was only familiar with Ten/VS/Vitalogy so she had no clue what I was talking about.
    Glad to see others heard that (and it's MUCH more obvious on the video).
