Hey all, just thought I would let the inquiring minds know that someone I know just joined the 10C. Number is up to very low 425XXX.

:D
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

not every 10C member number assigned is actually for an active 10C membership,...

when a 10C order is placed by a non-10C member, he/she is assigned a 10C member number that doesn't carry with it any membership privileges. should said non-10C member choose to join the 10C at a later date, the previously assigned 10C member number has its' membership privileges activated and the number counts as a 10C membership. however, should that number's membership never be activated then it carries no weight in the fan club,...

yup :) buy something - you get a number, buy a membership 2 years later - get the number from when you bought something a year ago.

ps. this 425xxx was a first time buyer, so someone could still get a lower number if they bought something a week ago :)

this just reminds me that i need to buy memberships for my kids so in 5-10 years they aren't fighting over my 10c tickets

Yeah, it's a little odd. Especially since if you let your membership lag for too long, you lose your old number forever.

But whatever, not like it affects me at this point (unless a huge, tall, fat guy bought something from the site many years ago and is just now activating, and happens to sit in front of me at a show... then I'll be pissed).
