Maybe,
In those places
that I wish I had been
I wonder if I would find something
that might cause a mood to change
or a heart to skip a single beat,
a lone crushed ant under leather boot
could change a tide
or a wind
that slew a thousand men,
a thousand miles away
or maybe just see a new beauty
for a single moment.
Maybe.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

How can an ant change the tides? Is it on the moon? A moon ant? Is the boot Neil Armstrong's? Ya lost me, bruzzle. :D

it was supposed to be nonsensical :D

I was listening to Astral Weeks and reading online reviews and finding it highly amusing how caught up in the apparent profound, metaphysical meaning to the lyrics and I was thinking, as I do round about this time of day, about how ultimately weird and inconsequential most things are. Maybe tiny insignificant things CAN have a huge effect, if only you stop trying to make sense of it :) a kind of twisted butterfly effect if you will... :p

or, I'm full of shit. These things happen when you start churning out stuff in a few minutes out of boredom
