I did'nt brush my teeth,
that morning
when I got up,
as you lay asleep
I quickly got dressed
and snuck out of the door
closing it so quitely
posting your keys
back through the letterbox
feeling's of guilt
not been there
when you wake up,
trying to clear my head
of all those fucked up thoughts
weighing me down like lead,
only a one night stand
for me at least,
you may have wanted more
but that was all you were good for
now please, get out of my head.
Can not be arsed with life no more.

Funny how you head just dosen't rid itself of some things and you can't remember the things you want to.
You've changed your place in this world!

"get out of my head" in a guilty way? Like you can't get the guilt out of your head?
    -or-

"get out of my head" in a " I can't stop thinking about her/I want more than a one night stand" type of way?

I think probably both, this was actually inspired when my son uttered the "I didnt brush my teeth", and it just inspired me to write it, I used to be like that ages ago when I was younger , playing the field and such
And it is hard to have sex with someone with the intention of perhaps not seeing them again at least for me it was anyway, well it was'nt hard but psychologically afterwards it was.:)

Artistic minds fascinate me. A simple thought or phrase leads to a poem, song, painting, etc...

when I hear "I didn't brush my teeth", the only thing that comes to mind is cavities! :)

    cheers.
