An aching pain replaces what was once joy.

I saw my shining light,
turn off for the final time
bulb exploded,
as this chapter of my life reached conclusion
and all this time,
it lit my way,
now in the dark
would be where I'd stay,
no way of knowing where you'd gone
and as this part of my life,
was officially declared over
I shead a tear
for all the past receeds and memory's lost
no more to be a part of,
right here I'd bleed my heart out
and echo in the past of,
now I just feel the breeze blow on my face
the cold chill shivers on my skin,
and I feel empty, devoid of thoughts within.
