A thousand eyes could not compare
to the way her gazing stare met him
but warmth was in her face, not hatred or pain
a smile began to crease her skin
she looked happy and content
to see this man again

He'd been away for a long time
but everything was as she remembered
his hair, his face, his dress sense
all in place, the way she'd been dreaming
of the moment they met again

as they're bodies met in a warm embrace
everything seemed right, all was well
the feeling of loneliness was gone
her scent was arousing
just like the first time they'd met

"one day I'll get a job at home" he said
so never we'll be apart again
but maybe that was part of the romance
and without it, would it be the same?
